Harvest Gold Beauty is the creation of Brittany Bell, hairstylist, educator, vintage enthusiast and lifelong collector of things with a story.

Born and raised in Southern California, Brittany made her way to Texas in 2008 and quickly fell In love the character, history and wide-open spaces of the Lone Star State.  Long before she became a licensed hairstylist in 2010 she was experimenting on friends, family and herself, developing the creative curiosity that would eventually become her career.

Much of Brittany's inspiration comes from places outside the beauty industry.  Years spent digging through thrift stores, record shops, old magazines and forgotten corners of Texas shaped the way she sees color, texture and personal style.  Rather than chasing every trend, she prefers to draw from the past and reinterpret classic influences in a way that feels modern, effortless and uniquely personal.

After training in Austin and serving as a color educator for Wella Professionals, Brittany spent years behind the chair helping clients find hair that not only looks beautiful on day one, but grows out gracefully and fits real life.

​

In 2020, Brittany made the move to Lockhart, a town she had fallen in love with during countless weekend road trips.  A few years later, Harvest Gold Beauty was born.  

​

Named after the iconic 1960s and 1970s color palette, Harvest Gold Beauty reflects Brittany's love of vintage design, thoughtful craftsmanship and welcoming spaces.  Her goal is simple: create beautiful, low-maintence hair in a relaxed environment where clients feel comfortable, understood and inspired.

​

Today, Brittany specializes in lived-in color, dimensional blondes and brunettes, modern cuts with a timeless feel, all from her boutique studio in historic downtown Lockhart.
